Hello everyone! This weekend, our team was travelling with "La Caravane" with our fellow local game developers and studios at Wendake. It was an amazing retreat where we saw many conferences, discussed commercialization, marketing, and many, many, many more subjects all around games and game development.
We also took this opportunity to playtest the game and gather feedback, as we had a special build just for the event. We received so much feedback — things to improve, elements to change, and tweaks to apply. It's wonderful.
We're tired, happy, and excited (at the same time!) to implement all of our learning from the weekend into the game in the upcoming weeks. As a consequence of that, this blog post will be shorter, as we didn't have that much time to work on the game.
As you know, we're full steam ahead to release the demo or at least have it ready by the end of next week. Janie has been working in overdrive mode to update all the sets of cards we already had so that we can offer a better experience for the prototype demo on Itch.io!
Some of the changes we made (But not all of them, to keep a little surprise for the demo!).
And that is without the addition of new card art.
I love this little dude so much!!
Isn't that so much better? Personally, we think it will greatly help with the prototype build, and it makes the game so much clearer to understand.
Finally, we're getting so close to the first playable demo. Stay tuned, as we'll announce the date of the demo coming out on itch.io. Join us on Discord so you don't miss it!
